In Metal News
We cannot possibly report all the metal news going on nor assure that it is true, that's what the boards are for and of course the rest of the net. However the biggest stories sweeping the Metal Flakes boards right now are:
Rob Halford's Resurrection Tour
With Halford playing warm up dates in some club venues, many board members from both Metal Flakes and www.robhalford.com are meeting up around the U.S. and other get togethers are being planned. It's awesome to see this many people from all around being brought together by a common cause. Get more information about these get togethers, past, present and future from www.robhalford.com, www.immortalsin.com, and www.metalflakes.com. The first arena show was in Canada. Rocker For Life was there and you can read his review here: Iron Maiden kicks off North Am tour in Toronto! No doubt, this is the tour to catch this year! Read reviews at any of the three websites. No matter what it takes, get your ass to this show!Notice the link for Rob's website has changed? This is due to the opening of his new web site. Similarly to what was available on www.two-online.com only with updates all the way around and a new design. Be sure if you were formerly in the habit of book marking straight to the message boards that you check in through the front door often. Recently there was a clickable link to a live chat with Rob shown there, yesterday more current news and features were listed.
Rob Halford's New Web Site! Nashville Pussy Has Lost Their Bassist
Many of us caught the Motorhead tour and saw Nashville Pussy open the show. "marc" went to the last show of the tour and witnessed quite the interesting argument among the band members. Read his post here: Cat fight at the *Nashville Pussy Corral*. Well amazingly enough, just a few short days later Corey Parks left the band. See new pictures from this tour in the Flake Fotos.
JJoker's Corner
Two rednecks decided that they weren't going anywhere in life and thought they should go to college to get ahead. The first went in to see the counselor, who told him to take math, history, and logic.
What's logic?" the first redneck asked.
The professor answered, "Let me give you an example. Do you own a weed eater?"
"I sure do."
"Then I can assume, using logic, that you have a yard," replied the professor.
"That's real good!" said the redneck.
The professor continued, "Logic will also tell me that since you have a yard, you also own a house."
Impressed, the redneck said, "Amazing!"
"And since you own a house, logic dictates that you have a wife."
"That's Betty Mae! This is incredible!" The redneck was catching on.
"Finally, since you have a wife, logically I can assume that you are heterosexual," said the professor.
"You're absolutely right! Why that's the most fascinatin' thing I ever heard! I cain't wait to take that logic class!"
The redneck, proud of the new world opening up to him, walked back into the hallway where his friend was still waiting.
"So what classes are ya takin' ?" asked the friend.
"Math, history, and logic!" replied the first redneck.
"What in tarnation is logic?" asked his friend.
"Let me give you an example. Do ya own a weed eater?" asked the first redneck.
"No," his friend replied.
"You're queer, ain't ya?"
