Our holiday get together for Christmas wasn't the get together we were hoping for. Snow and weather conditions prevented many from making it. This years gathering consisted of the same people as last year, Hardrock69, DEB, Ardra and Gladrial. Instead of a wild party we spent New Years having an elegant candlelit dinner, playing some cool tunes and watching movies. Then there were fireworks and drinks. An intimate evening among old friends.
The photos from Christmas Fest 2000 are also up for viewing.A new Flaker is born!
Baby boy, Mikkel, was born January 31st to Jurgen and his wife. While Mrs. Jurgen slept between contractions, Jurgen shared his nerve racking experience with us on cam in the chat room. He does look just a TAD bit nervous. They came through it all fine and Mikkel weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs. CONGRATULATIONS!!
New grown Flakes!

A lawyer named Strange died, and his friend asked the tombstone maker to inscribe on his tombstone, "Here lies Strange, an honest man, and a lawyer."
The inscriber insisted that such an inscription would be confusing, for passers-by would tend to think that three men were buried under the stone. However he suggested an alternative. He would inscribe, "Here lies a man who was both honest and a lawyer."
"That way, whenever anyone walked by the tombstone and read it, they would be certain to remark, 'That's Strange.'"
A man observed a sign in the window of a restaurant that read "Unique Breakfast" so he walked in and sat down.
The waitress brought him his coffee and asked him what he wanted. "What's your Unique Breakfast?" he asked inquisitively.
"Baked tongue of chicken!" she proudly replied.
"Baked tongue of chicken?... baked tongue of chicken! Do you have any idea how disgusting that is? I would never even consider eating anything that came out of a chicken's mouth!" he fumed.
Undaunted, the waitress asked, "What would you like then?"
"Just bring me some scrambled eggs," the man replied.
